Low on energy because of your sluggish adrenals? This easy recipe is just what the HTMA practitioner ordered!
Mineral balancing is complicated but the ways in which we can make big impact is quite simple.
Before reaching for the morning caffeine beverage, consider whipping up this refreshing and revitalizing mineral blend. An adrenal cocktail is a no-nonsense way to kickstart the adrenals with ingredients you probably already have on hand.
This cocktail is perfect for slow oxidizers or those with an Na/K inversion. But anyone who has been told their adrenals are slow can enjoy this refreshing boost!
▢ 4 ounces orange juice, fresh squeezed is best if not, use organic orange juice with nothing added
▢ 4 ounces organic , unsweetened coconut water (I love Kirkland Organic Coconut Water by the case; Amazon Fresh Coconut Water is also a great value if available to you)
▢ 1/2 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
▢ 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Blend with a frother or vigorous fork stirring and have first thing in the morning, or again in the afternoon if you have a typical "slump". Feel free to half the recipe if having two servings!
Not sure if your adrenals are sluggish? Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is the place to start to determine exactly what's going on at the metabolic level in your body. This is a test your doctor doesn't know about and would put little credence in because the simple and foundational role of minerals is not central concept in conventional medicine. Rest assured, if you identify which minerals are out of balance, what foundational nutrients are deficient, and what heavy metals may be lurking in your body, making the right changes to reclaim your health will be SO much easier to identify and implement.
